XLT hybrid with trailer hitch and inverter. The bed stuff (covers, liner) I can get aftermarket at a cheaper price. I didn't want 360.

Ooooooohhhhh! Rent the tow vehicle????🥰
Yes or just pay the local Marina to do it. But I still want to be able to tow it should I want to take it down the shore or something. Thanks

You're welcome! I am super cheap but know someone who is a personal assistant with a client that has an F250 just in case he needs a truck. Once a month he is paid to take it and have it washed or if needed detailed. Several decimal points over from my lifestyle.

I think the CP360 and adaptive cruise are both well worth getting. All my orders are going to get bumped to 2023 unless some kind of miracle happens, so my plan is to keep two of them and do this:

-Granger order, XLT AWD EB with 4k tow and FX4. I'm going to skip the CP360 even through I think it should be standard in order to get a faster build (I didn't remove it on my 2022 orders in case it results in a better private offer). Then I will drive it until I can trade it on my Long McArthur order.

-LM order, Lariat Hybrid with luxury package and CP360. That gets me everything I want but it probably also means I will have a long wait. During that time I will drive the XLT EB and live without adaptive cruise and CP360.

All that said, if I don't have a Maverick by my one year anniversary of waiting (January 2023) I am going to cancel everything and buy another Toyota. Every Toyota I am interested in has both adaptive cruise and the features in CP360. Waiting times are also measured in weeks instead of months if my experience buying my RAV4 hybrid holds true; reserved in late February, driving it in April.

my must haves for Maverick were the ECO 2.0 with a REAL transmission, AWD and 4k tow package with upgraded cooling- and under $30k OTD. Every other option I had on my order were just "nice to have" but not needed so no heartburn deleting them when the last constraints email came out 🤷‍♂️

REVISED:

LOL. With 12 days remaining until the big day, I just may have finally made up my mind.

Iconic silver XLT AWD with Lux. I have decided against the Hybrid so gonna go with all 4 corners spinning. (y)

I kept it bare bones XL EB FWD, as it already has a ton of features my 06 Honda Element and 97 Ford Ranger don't. I enjoy putting on aftermarket parts myself (tonneau, hitch, etc). I'm not any sort of mechanic, but get a lot of satisfaction out of it. Will have a local place do spray-in bedliner.

We don't get a ton of snow in East TN, but when we do the FWD does just fine. Good chance I won't need much of anything...I have an 8 mile commute round trip and live about a mile from Home Depot. My biggest need was a price tag under 20k, which I got from Granger. Should be able to put a good chunk down and pay it off in a year or two.

When building your Maverick, what do/did you feel are the must haves and why?

Trying to get some ideas to determine what would be best to add. Leaning towards the XLT trim with AWD, trailer package, and 360.
This video I saw shows 360. I think it is worth the wait because one distraction can cause a bad accident.
