Congrats! Been a long time coming for yah!
It took about two hours but everything was good. The only thing was he used the wrong certificate number so if I want to take the other order when it comes in it may make it difficult. I sent him the certificate number beforehand and told him the zip was messed up and he asked for the address so I thought everything was good. Then when we were going over he said he had to use the one that was in Smart Vincent which was the other number. Had all of my paperwork together which helped. Window sticker was $36,200 and after all the discounts and TTL the OTD price was $34,100 which was before the down payment. Overall it was still the quickest I ever spent at a dealer buying a car.

Oh OK gotcha. We were probably originally scheduled the same time then. Mine went into production on 1/6 but took three weeks to get built and then got lost in shipping

Just a note after 17 months It has been built and shipped!! maybe mid to late May ,it says. Still not sure if we will buy it, after I bought a santa cruz in Jan. up to the wife if she trades her kia soul. will keep posted and let you all know.
sunday 4/16 update NO mavericks on Vero lot- im going in next week and take all my paperwork, and see if I get the private offer ,do I get the full $2,750 ff the sticker? I have the offer # and the dealer has it too, from "way back" thew new one new one I printed the sticker is $26,500 xlt area 51 hybrid one opt. trailer hitch, says it should be here in May, says was shipped this week. . will be 18 months. I see KBB still 33,000 ish value?? so im not sure I can buy it and sell it back to another dealer, or them, if my wife dont want it. im going around next week and ask dealers around here if they would buy it and how much $$ . not sure. I never even got to drive one yet, dont know if we would even like it, (I know I would) that was my problem I like them ALL, most all makes and models. Im on month 3 on the santa cruz SE awd, and love it, no issues, and it will tow 3,500 if we get a small camper again,
well went to dealer, and its is on its way ,was shipped last week!! (a little late) I have been giving info to 6-8 dealers to see if and what they would give me if I did buy it and resell- we shall see, its a little scarey as we really dont have the $$$ to fart around like this, but if I can make a few $$$ ,it may be worth it, what stinks to is I will pay full sales taxes-reg-ins,etc. and the poor guy that buys it will have to pay all over again, the state will be happy !! I like the santa cruz and it will pull 3,500 ,if we ever get a camper again, so the one and ONLY reason I would switch for the maverick is the mileage, but we dont put a ton of miles on anymore, so ,so far 3 months and I like everything about the santa cruz,that is the Base SE awd. I wound not want the $$$ of the other models.mine was $28,500

Let me know if anyone bites on it. I have my second order being built next month and am deciding whether its worth to sell this one and get that one or just walk away from it.

SUNDAY 4/23 Vero had 2 lariat 2023 new one black-sticker $33,000- sale $38,000 one red sticker 37,000- sale $43,000 mine has been shipped and is on its way, still have not decided on buying and reselling it yet.
talked to over 10 dealers in our town and the one above and one below us- some not at all interested, some really wont give me enough to make it worth all the Hassel of buying paying for full sales tax and reg-ins.-etc. the most most has been from carvana and we buy any car-they are around $29,000 have not decided yet, I will let everyone know,when we do!!
this "may" be last posting from me ( sad) but we canceled the maverick order today ,waited 18 months- its on its way to mullinax vero beach, i know they will have no issues selling it asap! my wife did not want to chance buying and reselling ( my luck is not good!!) we dont really have the extra funds to try it . we canceled it today 5/3/23 GOOD LUCK TO ALL !!!!!
just an FYI- mine is in and now on the lot at $5000 over sticker sticker 26.500 vero beach mullinax, may be gone by the time I post this ??
