Muddy Mirrors and Mud Flaps

When I drive my Maverick on muddy roads mud is thrown up onto the forward sides of the side-view mirrors. Would installing mud flaps minimize this?

I have all four and yes they keep my mirrors and doors mud free, mostly.

A little but not all the way. I have mud flaps on my Maverick and I drive through the mud every week at work and I get mud all over my mirrors. If you're making a turn the mud flap is not going to cover the turn radius of the tire.
