One of my favorite memories (I was a Fortune 50 software engineer into my late 60s) was having a Best Buy youngling patiently try to explain to this Boomer how a certain tech device worked. I played along for fun. I had actually written the software for that device. But I played dumb and got a 15 minute tutorial that was hilariously wrong. It was great. I bought the device and thanked the youngling for helping me out (given the choice - always be nice).

My coworkers, who created much of the data storage software in use on the planet Earth today, were all Boomers. We loved shared our "boomer-splaining" stories at lunchtime.
