I've added dozens of accessories to my Maverick Hybrid, SIBL, mudflaps, WeatherTech floor mats, etc, etc, etc Without out double the most useful item were the seatcovers from Amazon (Oasis Auto OS-003 (choose your color) Seat Covers. They look like leather but are letterette, their padded and make the seat 2 to 3 times more comfortable...and very sharp. 2 yrs plus old and still look like the day I put them on...highly recommend. Best bargain of any thing I've added - $79.99
I will definitely check those out. Appreciate the info.

Guess I’m lucky. My wife so far refrained from it. She likes her Escape Titanium, with leather seats. The truck not has leather.
Gee, I’m lucky.

It's a coincidence that we seem to have the same combination. My wife drives a fairly well-equipped 2022 PHEV Escape SEL. She wanted the PHEV because it allows her to use the HOV lanes (in CA) alone.

CA legislators have determined that her HOV lane stickers will expire in 2025.

She declared she was taking my Maverick when she could no longer use the Escape in the HOV lanes, and I could do what I wanted with her Escape. Yet, I don't plan on giving it up to her. šŸ˜Ž

We do have a 2024 XL Hybrid that we ordered for my son. Yet, we got a great deal from Long McArthur in Salina, Kansas (@fordvideoguy) on a 2023 XLT Hybrid. It is now scheduled to be produced the week of 04/22. Yet, again, Long McArthur had what we wanted. I will pick it up this Friday and drive it 1500 miles from Salina to Southern California.

And before anyone asks, my wife and I dislike the standard XLT interior and don't think the Black Appearance Package (which now requires the XLT Luxury Package) is worth it. She has no interest in the Lariat. We both like the XL's interior and can justify the added cost for the Hybrid.

Yes, that means
  • We will sell the PHEV Escape in early 2025.
  • She is okay with the XL level. And,
  • My immediate family will have three Mavericks: 1) My Shadow Black 2023 XLT EB AWD, 2) My son's Cactus Gray XLT Hybrid, and 3) My wife's Atlas Blue 2024 XL Hybrid.

Sounds like y’all have a plan. And all happy happy. I did have a F250 diesel. I feared whenever wife did drive it. Can see 2 eyeballs over steering wheel, lil woman that she is.

Never let her refuel it, afraid she put gasoline in it.

If when she did drive it, thereafter I have to readjust all mirrors, seat, steering wheel tilt .

I ordered a maverick xl hybrid in September 2022 with plans to put one of my employees in it for a service truck. After 18 months I took delivery last week and momma decided she wanted to sell her 300s and drive the Maverick. Thats fine with me because it gives me and excuse to start modifying it with fun new parts.
It just hit 1000 miles and this is what I’ve done so far.

mabbett mud flaps

Smartliner floor liners

LINE-X bed liner

Yitamotor hard bed cover

RTX Dakar satin bronze black edge wheels 17x18 +35 offset. 2ā€ black splined lug nuts.

I used my Ford points for a set of Carhart seat covers.

CDEFG cup holders for front and rear from Amazon

My thoughts on the upgrades so far:
The Carhart seat covers are ā€œokā€ for the $100 I paid but I would have been seriously disappointed if I had paid full price at $300. I like the material but the fit and look is just ok.

I would like to find a better cup holder for the rear. The ones I bought will only fit a can or bottle of water. The front are fine size because the Ford cup holders hold larger cups like Yeti tumblers. I am hoping for some suggestions on better rear cup holders???

Other than that I have nothing negative to say about the truck or upgrades so far.

I really like the wheels. They make the truck stand out as different from any of the other mavericks I have seen. I reused the stock continental tires on the new wheels and I am happy with the way they look.
The offset is exactly what I wanted. Just enough to reach the edge of the fender without sticking out.
Now I just need to wash it and ceramic coat it.

Same thing happened to me. My wife and I drove old cars, so it was time to upgrade to vehicles with more safety features. She always liked the 4Runner, so we bought a new (2023) 4Runner for her, and got a new (2023) Maverick Tremor for me. Interestingly, when she goes out she takes the Tremor much more often. She explains - well, I thought the Tremor was our around town vehicle and the 4Runner would be for trips. You can't argue with solid logic. Happy wife, happy life.
