For me the climate control was plug & play. Another guy did the same thing with his Lariat and he said that he had to do a reset on the radio to get it to work properly. So I guess results may vary.

I was definitely expecting to go into FORScan to get it to work, but I didn't end up needing to.
I learned from my climate control swap that FORScan is only needed if the donor Escape and donee Maverick are different engine types (Hybrid/EcoBoost). On a related note, I didn't know they had a loaded Escape climate control with light pipes in the silver trim & around the dials - looks sweet!

Awesome build so far, love the seat covers! Very Focus ST-like.

Nice looking Maverick. Which tonneau cover did you get? I like the low profile of it. Very tasteful build.

No intention of hijacking the thread but if you are looking for low-profile hard tonneau covers, check out the Lomax Hard Tri-Fold. That's what I am using and am very happy with it - I was also looking for a very low-profile option.

Really Nice. Great Job. I bet running on the track is a LOT of FUN !!!
Oh yeah it was a blast! I definitely would like to take it again since I've gotten the exhaust, CAI and a bunch of other stuff done to it since then.

What does DTF stand for?
Haha, DTF stands for "Down to Focus". It started out as a joke on Facebook, turned into a group, and then I made it my YouTube channel a few years ago.

Maverick looks great!

Nice focus too — had to zoom in and confirm that Kona color.
Oh yeah, one of my many Focus project cars. That one is in the process of getting a RWD done on it.

How did you post your build

on the main news page? I posted on builds because I didn't know how to post on this page.
I just posted this in the builds page. An admin must have put it on the main page.

Do you have a part# for that good scoop? I think it'll look nice on my Oxford White!

Great job with everything btw!
This is my second Maverick. First one was written off by a drunk driver at a red light. Got hit from behind and he was going over 55mph.
VNZ6Z-16C630-A from Ford Accessories. I'm really waiting for them to have the front bumper lip be available for purchase so I can add that too.

Ah, that would explain why. I guess I just got lucky when I bought mine haha. Thank you, I definitely think the seats are my favorite part. I just need to finish getting rid of the rest of the brown on the interior.

I got the hard rolling tonneau from Ford. I fell in love with it when I saw it on the Maverick at SEMA '21.

I love this build and I’m actually tore on what to do with mine. Lifted for the few times I go to CO or Texas hunting. Or lower like your for track fun.
Btw love the focuses I have zx5 02. Now I have a loaner 03 svt for track events and a 16 Rs.
Btw Livernois is the way to go for tuning these things without any issues. They do all my stuff and have never had a single issues with tuning from them. My truck had 364k tuned miles befor hit by a street racer. And my 2.0 edge had 180k of e30 tuned miles.

Nice! My RWD swap is a 2000 ZX3, we have my wife's 07 SAP that we're doing an AWD swap on, and my 02 SVT track car

Ouch, how’s the body handling the trauma?

I'm a little rough. The insurance company gave me $3500 worth of physio to use. Went twice a week for almost two months and I've used up all of my allotted money so I don't know what to do now.
The Canadian laws have changed in January of this year and it's almost impossible to sue anyone now in situations like these.
Basically, if I'm not in a wheelchair or any permanent impairment... I can't do anything.

Once we got to North Carolina I was able to install my S&B cold air intake (sounds great with my Steeda BOV, which I also installed the day I got the truck)

20231021_192538.jpg

I was able to pick up a Climate Control module from a 2020 Escape pretty cheap on Ebay which gave me the digital temperature display and just looks much better in general.
ZomboDroid_21112023085302.jpg

And just last week I got my bed decals in from Ford Performance which I have wanted for a while now, and was happy that Ford started offering them separately (they were originally only available with the Ranger Ford Performance packs)

Now I need to get my VelossaTech snorkels installed, as well as the custom grille I'm planning on fabricating (since no one makes an aftermarket grille that works with the ACC)

I'm planning on getting coilovers soon to lower the truck just a tad more, and a tune. I've been hoping that Ford will come out with a factory tune for it, but after SEMA '23 I'm thinking that's not going to happen, so I'm thinking that I might go with the Livernois tune.
What did it take for you to change out the climate control module? Thanks!

I feel exactly the same as you do about not realizing it's 'that' different until it is next to a stock one.

Looks great, love that you track it. I haven't done autocross in a very long time.

A few small mods I had done in the interim. Fixed the TSR (Traffic Sign Recognition 🚥) on the instrument cluster, added some Maverick pedal covers,

Any chance you have more info on how you got the TSR to show American-style signs? I've only been able to get the European style to show up. Thanks in advance!
