Already a follow up question. I don't follow why the bolts have to be so long? With a quarter inch plywood attaching directly to the bracket wouldn't that make it maybe a total of 3/8" or so? Or do you have it threading through the bracket and into or against the frame of the car?
Can you share more details on the plate behind the seat? What size and type of screws did you use to mount the panel I'm guessing you made. Did you just make a template and then transfer it? Doing something similar hopefully soon for an inverter and would appreciate any advice.
Hi all, resurresting my favorite of all the inverter threads. I’m optimistic about my build. Weirdly, the part holding me up is the “permanent” mounting plate. It seems like folks have been mounting that only to the existing piece designed for the audio upgrade, But it has bends on it, and a...

Dealer replaced mine in July (22 XLT Hybrid) and issue went away. It started back up again about two weeks ago. Located in Seattle (sharing in case climate is relevant - though it shouldn’t be)
I know many folks are avoiding some of the recall services due to cars going limp. Is there any reason to be concerned about this specific recall? Can’t say I’m totally keeping them straight. I have three that I have yet to do: underhood fire, body control module bcm software update, and...
I built my own portable power generator that has similar specs. Your post inspired me to consider a more permanent install. Is there an easy way to pass wires from the cab to the bed? Particularly thick wires like 2/0 gauge? How is that quick connect working for you?
I hardwired the thinkware f200 pro with the fusebox. I followed the video someone posted here to a TEE. It’s like as 45 minute video, but perfect. I have it with parking mode and works great
