I searched but only find people talking about fuel mileage in slippery mode...

Experienced first icy roads of the year this morning and made the 50 mile drive in "Slippery" mode. Prolly got up to 70 a few times, any concerns with that? I Don't have a tach to reference anymore.

Apologies if it's in the manual, I'm at work and haven't had a chance to look for it.
TIA

Max speed is as fast as it will go with the pedal to the floor!
I'm pretty sure with the pedal to the floor it over rides the slippery mode so it will top out the same as any other mode.

Ok just checking. I'm used to having AWD/4WD on the fly the past 2 trucks and they had a max mph

Don't worry the "slippery mode" just adjusts throttle, braking, and traction control to help in slippery conditions. It's not like 4x4 where you have a Max speed so anything under 100 should be fine in that mode.

No technical limitations.
Any speed safe for you is safe for the truck.

Based on a recommendation from a forum poster, I just drove in Slippery mode for a quarter-tank of gas. All of the driving was stop-and-go city driving. Slippery mode was a PITA the entire time, because of its lack of response to the gas pedal. I will DEFINITELY use it when slippery/winter conditions do not require instant pedal response, but it was maddening in regular city traffic.

I use Slippery mode nearly all the time - at least when I remember to put it in that mode. It really improves MPGs in the Hybrid. And so does using the EV Coach. But if you're used to jackrabbit starts, you're probably not using the EV Coach....

Sport is maddening.
Normal is quasi-maddening.
Slippery is so relaxing.
It's mostly an advantage in stop n go.
I'm only getting 650 miles per tank in winter. But get 750 miles per tank in the Spring and Fall.
