I decided it was time for me to make a camping and overlanding build, so here are the parts you need if you want to do some overlanding. Based on the 2022, 2023, and 2024 Maverick XLT FX4 in Hot Pepper Red, Cactus Gray, or Shadow Black. You can choose any of the 3 colors for this build.
1. Add some running boards. The type of running board doesn't matter.
2. Upgrade the tires to beef up your Mav. I would recommend the Nitto Nomad Grappler 245/70r17 tires, but you can choose any type of tires.
3. Install the OEM fender flares. (THIS IS OPTIONAL.)
3. Make a DIY portable kitchen and put it in the bed. (THIS IS ALSO OPTIONAL.)
4. Install some roof bars if you want to carry anything on the roof. If you want, you can install a Front Runner Outfitters roof/bed rack.
5. Install a lightbar on the grill, OR if you choose to put the Front Runner Outfitters roof/bed rack, you can install the light bar on that.
After you have everything on the list, you will have a pretty good looking overlanding Maverick.
