Maverick windshield wipers vs Baltimore Squeegee kids.

Hello, it just occurred to me to put out this warning to anyone traveling with their Maverick in downtown Baltimore. For years, there has been controversies about this kids who have a squeegee in hand ready to pounce on your car to make some cash. Whereas you might think that you could flag them off, some are aggressive and some assults have happened. There was also a driver initiated murder (of the driver) when he left his car with a baseball bat and was shot and killed by one of the kids.

Given how our Maverick windshiled wipers should not be bent in the off position, I can just picture an issue caused by these kids not knowing what they're doing and assuming that they can bend them.

So, be careful about avoiding these crews the next time you head out for Bertha's Mussels.

The murdering squeegee kid in Bodymore was pled down to Juvenile, he will be back on the corner in three years. Drive carefully!

The Walmart shooter was not dealt with, he killed himself. The Squeegee Kid in question is being tried as an adult as ruled by the judge last week.

I agree that Baltimore is a $hithole that I avoid at all costs. I can name an equal number of equally bad places in VA having Worked there for 40 years..

We rural GA boys do not have much crime. Sometimes we can be a bit naive though. I pulled up this thread because I thought the "Baltimore Squeegee" was a new mod for the Mav. The wipers could use some kind of mod IMHO. Love my Mav, but the wipers really are not great.
