I love how cargo cult-y these Photoshop jobs can be. Ah, yes, just put the snorkel on the completely opposite corner from the air filter.
The original pic of that photoshop is a Ranger, which has the filter on the passenger side IIRC. Did you notice the bike racks on the roof, flipped up and mounted transversely.. I’ve never seen anyone mount bike racks that way, or leave the front tire bracket flipped up when no bike is present 🤣

Not my cup of tea and would rather see a STX version. :)
The XL is the STX version… STX is typically a dolled up XL. How are they gonna doll up a Maverick XL? It’s not the same as ranger or f150 as the bumpers are already painted to match.

I don't understand the excitement for this. It's like putting a Ferrari engine in a Civic. Sure, it might be cool, but it's not functional.
FX4 on a Maverick isn’t exactly “functional” either.. yet highway driving folks are flocking to it like flies on 💩

Actually it's smart if you want black rims. You can't buy good aftermarket ones for less. You also get an upgraded radiator, fan and rear suspension as a bonus.

The STX option is more than just bumpers but a moot point since its not available.

all of the overland gear I see on SUVs and Tacomas kills your fuel economy. Took off the little basket from the roof of my wife’s suv because hwy fuel economy dropped 5mpg!

If not using your accessories, remove them. People don’t understand how much aerodynamics play a part in fuel economy, especially on small turbo engine powered suvs/trucks!
That's why almost every vehicle now in production looks like a running shoe.

I want to get a roof rack and carbo basket but don't want the rack permanently installed for the reason you mention.

Ford already offers a Tremor off-road version of every other truck they sell in America — the Ranger, the F-150 and the Super Duty — adding the package to the Maverick seems like a likely course.
Since my Maverick has been on chip hold since 11/29 I'm not going to sit and wait Four Months for chips like I did with my Bronco Sport this past year. We are going to look at a Velocity Blue Ranger XLT with the Tremor package on Monday that my dealer just got in. The price, with all the added incentives, is just a little more than the Maverick and if the wife likes it, she will have her Christmas Present and the dealer will have a Maverick Lariat if it ever comes in.

While this rendering is certainly way, way overkill, I genuinely don't understand the hate surrounding this trim. A huge amount of people have already modified their Mavs to have a bit of extra height and additional clearance with larger tires. So what's so strange about someone wanting those features direct from the factory?

One of the main reasons I wanted a Maverick is to distance myself from machismo truck culture, but bit by bit the same stupid mindset is seeping into this community. There are plenty of practical instances where having a bit of extra clearance on a Maverick makes sense without having to start the "hur dur yer just pretendin' to be a ReAl truck".

Just because I would feel a bit more comfortable having 1" off additional ground clearance and ride height doesn't mean I should then spend another $20,000 on a Tacoma with atrocious ride quality, fuel efficiency, and obnoxious dimensions.

Was liking the Rattler spy pics , that redesigned front bumper would really help in off road scenarios. Seems odd that there hasn't been further info since November 1st - Liking the H&R adventure springs that should be coming out soon for the Mav -

Yeah, whether they call it the Rattler or Tremor or whatever, I definitely like what I've seen from whatever this new trim will be.
