Maverick Now Live On Ford A/Z/X Plan Site

It may not be lazy dealers. It may be uninformed dealers- like myself. I spent hours on the phone with Ford today, because I could only get NA to show up. Ford had no idea, but I finally got assistance from another dealer and *boom* all the plans are visible.

Tell your dealer to change their order Type from Retail to A Plan. They will see all the plans then.

My dealer is looking into this as well. Thanks!

The VIN is only needed when the X-Plan purchase is being completed. Once you have a PIN you are not even limited as to what you buy. You could walk in to buy a Maverick and leave with a Mustang GT Convertible!

Nice...I will ask my dealer. How does the financing work? FORD.COM online shows some options. Do you get that now as part of purchase agreement or wait until order arrives and the financing options available during pickup is the only thats applicable?

You cannot finance until, (at the earliest at least), until you receive your VIN. Most will do the financial at delivery.

So I just did a normal order, but when it gets here I will be able to do X plan (mustang club). Will the dealer give me issues? Or is it something that should have been initially ordered a certain way?

My dealer said she can't look up A plan pricing but if I ordered at msrp which she offered with $100 deposit, I can backout even after the vehicle comes to the dealer and I end up not liking it. So maybe check with your dealer?
