I started noticing sometimes water on my floor mats and just figured it was from after a rainstorm and getting on my shoes. Then the other day I went through a car wash and noticed afterwards soapy water seeping from behind the center stack. The only soapy water I could think was from the car wash and how it got into my car, no idea! Then today I noticed it again and saw it dripping from behind and thought it was maybe an HVAC leak or something, but that wouldn't explain the soapy water after the car wash. Never had a car that leaked from there before and figured the interior was sealed up, but guess it's not?

I have an appointment with my dealer, but they are doing remodeling to their service center and next appointment isn't for 3 weeks. I'm going to probably find another dealer because its ridiculous. This is my first Ford and I was really excited for the Maverick and followed it from the beginning and waited 18 months for mine to come in, but this will most likely be my last. I've had two recalls done so far and had my wiper fluid container replaced. I have three issues for this next appointment including: bad CV axles (shakes when accelerating), headlights randomly turned on and flickered on their on in the middle of the night and caused battery issues as the car told me Stop Vehicle Safely (dealer apparently didn't find it critical enough to take me in), and now this water leak.

I'm hoping I have a few more issues before my 36,000 miles are up and I can put in a lemon law request.

Bad HVAC intake cover seal / bad install. This part is beneath windshield cowl on passenger side. Takeout the blower filter, look inside with a flashlight and have so em w poor water on your windshield. Should see a leak.
