Well, after 243 days since order day my new Maverick is in the driveway. Process went like this:
Placed order 15 SEP 22
order confirmed 16 Sep 22
Scheduled for prod 13 Apr 23
Built 26 Apr 23
Shipped 1 May 23
Released to customer 18 May 23 (Duval Ford)
Delivered to custtomer19 May 23 (me)
Over two weeks in Transit from Hermosillo, Mexico to Duval Ford in Jacksonville, FL
Duval Ford was great. Tino Lebron and Warren Hart were my "agents". Never had to see a finance officer. Final cost
New Ford Maverick Lariat with just 400W110 V outlet, taxes, tags out the door $ 29,600. (that included a $3000 trade in for my old 2008 Toyota van). Process was long but final negotiation went well. No surprises.
Praises to all of you at Maverick Truck Club. In an old Navy expression. "Bravo Zulu" Thanks a million, Well done!

Congrats on your new truck. Like other poster, post some photos. If I read your post correctly, you got only ONE option. Is that correct?

That went well! Quite a speedy choo-choo, too.

It is funny how random the delivery times are. Mine shipped on Apr 25th, then was unloaded at the train yard ramp north of Houston (100 miles away) on May 10th.. 10+ days of nothing.

My dealer has been getting loads of F-150s…so I guess my Mav isn’t a priority load.

Yes, just the 400W110V outlet
Got a Bedrug and Truxedo from a local truck supplier here. Did about the same cost as Ford, but the trailer hitch is gonna be more.

Yeah, the shortage of over-the-road truckers is a real thing. New regulations and electronic "nannies" are making it a tough way to make a living. Everyone is competing for those limited resources, so you'd think it would lead to higher wages, but...

You do realize that F-150s and Mavericks are built in different plants in different locations, right? Plus, Ford sells F150s roughly 5:1 over Mavericks... And tons of F150s sat in parking lots for ages waiting for chips, so Ford is highly motivated to get all those out of the parking lots and onto dealer lots. Not surprising there would be more F150s arriving at your dealer's lot than Mavericks.

Yes they are built in different plants...but in my area, they get offloaded into the same rail yard. And yes there should be way more F-150s being delivered, just because the volume difference (I bet my little dealership sells 50 to 100 F-150s to every maverick). I'm just saying that there are car haulers running, but my truck gets to sit.
