Really liked this video. I've never owned a hybrid, so it was good to see how it drove, and hear someone's thoughts on how it would work in the context of the Maverick.

Anyone notice he's in a Fusion? Displays are all Gen 3.
I'm still curious how the Maverick is going to display its hybrid power figures with the gauge being analog. I assume similar to the second gen Escapes. If they can figure out how to show where the EV-ICE transition line like the Empower gauge mode I normally use on my Fusion that would be ideal. Hopefully I don't need to leave the productivity screen stuck on a digital hybrid power gauge all the time.

Isn’t it the gauge where the tach would be on the ecoboost?

Yes. Interestingly it's also labelled differently on the Lariat's instrument cluster. In power percent rather than KW.

Well, the configurator. I don't think we've seen up close RL pictures of a Lariat Hybrid?
Actually looking at the Area 51 XLT Hybrid preview demo its power is in % as well where the build & price was showing KW so maybe a design change at some point.

Likely similar to the Escape Hybrid.

I've attached a shot of the digital dash, too.

And here's a tip: get analog if you wear polarized sunglasses. The LCD version black out.

Great POV footage behind the wheel of the Escape hybrid. I suspect the driving dynamics will be similar. That digital gauge cluster is really nice though.
