Maverick Hitch Receiver not available?

I am very much enjoying my Maverick truck since early November, unfortunately I missed ordering the hitch receiver. Ordered the new hitch through the dealership the same day I picked up my truck. The problem is every time I call for an eta, it keeps getting pushed back! Could this just be the dealer? Are these not available across the country? Any similar stories?

I purchased my Maverick and ordered the hitch from a dealer which arrived about two weeks later. They installed it but not wiring yet. They must be available now hopefully.

Maybe drop the factory hitch and have a dealer- installed one instead? I have a feeling they're probably still constrained.

My xlt with a hitch as the onlt option left the factory the first of july.from what i hear you will be glad you ordered it from the factory.
