Maybe his Maverick has that same issue as mine where it's really hard to use the brakes at slow speeds and they lock up on you, in particular the hybrid

Oops!Someone’s poor Maverick didn’t like the first snowfall of the season up here in Eastern Canada. Happened in Grand Falls New Brunswick today. Same truck as mine but Ecoboost.
