Folks,

I ordered my 2022 Maverick Hybrid in June of 2021. It arrived yesterday I'm going to go look at it today or tomorrow and intend to turn down the reservation.

I'm a super excited about this truck but when I ordered it I asked how big the super cab really was. You see I'm 6 ft 6 in and have children that are similarly taller than average. My F250 Super Duty Supercab and Ram 1500 Crew Cab allow for my children to sit comfortably behind me while I have the seat positioned appropriately for someone my size. A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to sit in someone else's Maverick and quickly identified that with the seat position appropriately, only babies and very small children will be able to will be able to sit behind me.

So if you happen to be in the Kansas City area and you are super pumped about this truck as I was. Should the stars align and you read this message in the next couple of hours, there may be one immediately available.

Clearly all Super Cabs are not created equally. Before ordering I did attempt to gain some information on this. I asked my dealership who having not seen one couldn't provide good information and was honest as such. I called Fords customer service line and was told that they were "nearly indistinguishable" and that I "wouldn't notice the difference".
That's interesting as during one the earlier reviews the guy was 6'5" and felt the rear seating was doable for that hight, Maybe not for a cross country trip but ok for the most part

I'll post some pics (with a tape measure) on the difference in spacing between the back of the driver seat and the front of the rear seat on an F150/250 SuperCrew and the Maverick SuperCrew

Not saying there's no height difference but we're not buying an F-150

I don't understand the negative connotation of flipping. We live in a capitalistic society. There is nothing immoral or unethical in buying and selling goods.

The driver itself it's not a problem. I'm actually quite comfortable in the Maverick, the problem is my children. The backseat is simply not big enough for a person over 4' 6" is the front seat is pushed all the way back to accommodate someone that is 6' 6"

It is not exist enough space between the back of the front seat for the legs

My 6'-3" son can ride in the backseat, but not directly behind me. I'm 6'-2" and have the seat all the way back. He sits behind his 5'-8" mom. But my two 5'-8" daughters can sit right beside him. The 5 of us in the cab works fine for trips up to 25-30 minutes. If we are going further than that, we take the minivan.

Although, since my kids are 16-21 years old, there are not many times we are all travelling together anymore. They have lives of their own. Hence why I am downsizing from a full size crew cab.

Interesting, i’m 6’5” 36 inseam, sat in an XL, still a few inches above my head, salesman was 6 ft2, someone about 6 feet could fit behind me. I sit in the backseat someone under 6 feet can definitely fit in front of me ..May not work if you have huge femurs 🦴

I would be interested to know how this worked out. Were you able to transfer the sale to another forum member?

Nah. went to dealer to sell to highest bidder. I think someone had already put a full deposit with ADM down at the dealer to snatch it up once OP declined to purchase.
