They are not trusted. And to further combat your opinion, I've had random people who see the truck ask me if it was a Hybrid and then go "yea, those things are having some issues huh". People are definitely aware of the issues.
It seems to me that you joined this page and purchased your EB Model long before there were any recalls so I’m going out on a limb and will say your mind was made up before.

But that’s OK too, the people who drive the hybrid version will still enjoy their drives just as much.

But I’ve got a bet for you if you’re willing to go along. We’ll both go down to the grocery store in your neighborhood and stand by our trucks. For every person who comes by and says “oh, I hear the hybrids are having issues” I’ll pay you $50. For every person who says “What kind of truck is that? Hmmm, never heard of it”, you can pay me only $20. Deal?

Here’s a pic from my driver earlier this evening, managed to get it in before today’s fire…lol.

I had a '22 Escape Hybrid with the recalls. I got the EB Maverick because of it. 3 times I had no starts due to the deep sleep battery issue. Even if they resolved the crankshaft issues at the assembly lines in later models (again, no actual fix for those potentially affected), the deep sleep issue is still persistent for a lot of Hybrid owners and you will see it weekly here on the forums. There are a lot of happy owners, regardless of engine or model, and there are a lot of people experiencing or have experienced issues as well. I'm glad you are not one of them.

Also, people doing the research looking into new vehicles are aware. Your "bet" is irrelevant preying on random people that are not looking into buying a C2 platformed FORD. Another thing you see on the forums here, regularly, is questions asked from new users if the issues have been resolved. Admittedly, the question I mentioned was one person. So maybe my use of "random people" was oversaturated and not plural. Either way, it happened.

I loved that little Escape. Didn't trust it though and there is no option for an AWD Hybrid Maverick currently. No doubt if/when there is and my warranty is up it will be a consideration - and hopefully we are finally beyond COVID levels of QC at the assembly line.

Either way, not really what this thread is about. The only reason recalls were brought up was due to the market value discussion. I'm not sure what your intention is to prove a Hybrid gets awesome MPG.
