I had a 1966 Beetle with a hand cranked sun roof. $99 extra. Now they're a $1000 or more.

I loved my hand cranked sunroof in my 1984 Jetta, I think it might have been up to $199 by then.

How do I install the map update?

While I appreciate everyone’s opinions regarding the nav function, my question was intended to get input on the specific task of uploading the Update. There is no information in the owners manual on this as far as I can see (no real surprise). Does it upload from the USB port at the bottom of the dash or is there another location intended for this purpose?

LOL, amazing how few can actually read a question and answer it. While you can update through WiFi unless you have an awesome connection I'd recommend the USB method. It can take from 30min to a hour while your engine is running. Once completed reuse the USB for your tunes.

I have an escape with nav. Ford keeps bugging me to update at $149.00 thru ford pass I think .. no way, I use Waze it’s better.

can't be worse than SiriusXM. Had the Tremor for about 3 weeks, never used the service and they've call my phone 4 times already. I need to talk to my dealer about how they got my number
