Bought one of these for my 2024 Lariat Maverick Hybrid and it worked well. However, the installation instructions say to remove the bolts under the bumper. Sounds easy enough but the wrinkle is (at least on my vehicle) is the bolts aren't connected to nuts but locking fasteners that would not release the bolts. There is a second set of holes on the Mabett piece that matched a second set of holes on the bumper. I used a nut and bolt combo to fasten the piece to the bumper using the second holes. There is enough space between the holes on the Mabett piece that if you want to cut off the unused outer holes if you can't remove the bolts as instructed. Overall, The Mabett piece fits well and outside of that one obstacle I'm satisfied.

I don't think they are bolts. I have this hitch cover and there was 2 screws to remove, slide up the cover into place then replace the screws which will hold the cover in place. Hope this helps.

Every Mabett cover I've seen looked like a cow turd, but I get that some people might not want to mess with the DIY hack job on the OEM part.

That said, here is a pic of my Ford (not Mabett) part from this thread:

The outer (red) screws are on all the trucks AFAIK, and taking them out makes installing the cover a little easier because you get a little more flex out of the bumper cover.

The inner (blue) holes are open on trucks with hitches but are meant to line up with holes in the OEM cover, and i assume the Mabett version as well. I used plastic trim clips I had laying around.
