I agree. I have a thin case that’s specifically mag safe but, when I use the Mav mag charger, my phone gets super hot and charges super slow. Almost useless as a charger. By example, put my phone on the charger for 30 minutes while driving and it picks up maybe 5% on a good day.

I only use my Lariat wireless charger for my Samsung Buds/Buds 2 headphones.

I keep a 45w fast charger in the back if I ever need to charge my phone on long trips.

Yeah …. I gave up on the mag charger in my Lariat and I use the USB-C port to charge my phone. Works great. I think we high jacked the OP discussion.

How’s that going to work with the bigger screen and no cubby for the mount to go in, or do they have a different model for the 2025 that mounts differently?

Yeah, my surface charger in my 2024 Lariat, I can’t use. It makes my IPhone 16 pro hot.

mine did too until I took it out of the case and charged it. Much better now just charging the phone by itself

I think you're right, unless there's an attachment on the rear that doesn't obscure the screen. It's all good I'll just return it if it doesn't fit...
