I have the cubby phone holder, it works as designed.

I also have the cubby phone holder and I like it. The magnet seems like it's pretty strong, holds the phone a little tighter than another one I have in another car.

I'm not sure I'll ever use the rest of the stuff that came in the kit...the fan and cup holder and whatnot. I tossed them in the glove compartment. Would have ordered just the phone mount but the full kit had a lot better shipping time.

I installed the Mabett cubby phone holder but I'm mostly using it to hold my old-school Garmin GPS ha ha. I like that that I can change to my phone by just removing the plastic insert with the 17mm ball and changing it out for the phone one. Haven't figured out what to put in the cubby space below the GPS yet though.
