Mabett sunshade pics and review

The sun shade for the Maverick windshield arrived today from #Mabett, and like the other products I've purchased from them, it's impressive. Arrived in a large resealable bag with instructions on folding and unfolding the shade, and the shade itself is in its own black, zippered bag for stowing.
Installation is easy: unfold, tuck one side behind the mirror, repeat for the other side, flip sun visors down to ensure it stays in place. Voila!
There's a Velcro strap to keep the two flaps together at the center, but its use is optional (to me).
It's not a sunny afternoon here today so I can't vouch for the reduction in interior temperature with the shade in place, but using it will definitely reduce fading of interior surfaces that receive direct sunlight via the windshield.
Summary: it's a keeper.
I had three different sunshades from three different vehicles and none of them would fit the Maverick. I think the others are going to the 'buy nothing sell nothing' local group...somebody could use them.

I've worked in NC with a pavement analyst company...actually I've worked in every state except Rhode Island...and NC sunny days can blister paint!

I have this same model, but it was merched for a company for a trade show (OG Racing). I can vouch for it! It is amazing at reducing interior temp. I also have window vents/shades/visors, so I can crack the windows. Combined with the windshield shade, it makes a world of difference. My car lives in east TN, and spends time in FL, as well. These window shades are invaluable for cutting the cab's interior heat, as well as saving your dashboard and steering wheel from the blistering sun!

It being a one piece unit makes it a no go for me. I like the two piece type that are far easier to deal with in a small cabin space.

I'm currently using the two piece one from the 2012 Focus that the Maverick replaced and it fits perfectly.

I got mine today and it’s the best I’ve ever had. I have one that I got from a leading interior accessory company and paid 3 times more than what this one cost and they are thin trash compared to Mabett’s. Easy to install and remove

I've had mine for a couple of months, it does a great job of keeping the cabin cooler. Easy to put in place even in the small cabin of the Maverick

Sorry, the wife picked it up at Walmort when the 2012 car was new, no idea the model number or manufacturer.

I've had mine for a couple of weeks and I'm impressed with the fit and quality. The Mabett uses a thicker materiel than I've found elsewhere and fits the Maverick's screen like a glove. Only draw back with the thicker material is it is a bit harder to collapse back into its storage shape, but since it keeps the truck cooler, I can live with that.
