Mabett New Products Sneak Peek!

OK, I understand the forthcoming Mabett ratchet straps are designed to be fixed in one location, high in the rear corners of the bed. I modified a similar set to enable them to be positioned and locked anywhere along the side rails. The attached photos should be self explanatory. The start point is a T construction tie from one of the big box stores.

I actually have two pairs of ratchets in my Maverick’s bed. The first slide and lock along the length of the side rails. The second pair’s are mounted to the upper corners of my Mabett sliding bed divider. They partner with several DIY anchor points I added to the bed’s front wall.

as mentioned before, how about a quick and cheap rear seat delete kit?
I'm fabricating one now, the horizontal platform is easy, but the vertical one for the back wall is complicated. Very 3D because of the nooks, crannies, seat belts, and tire jack storage.
Sure, pop the whole thing out 6"/15cm and make it "one size fits all" with cubbies in the spaces not occupied by stuff behind it, but that negates the space savings of removing the back seat.
(space savings needed for things like tool boxes, dog kennels, dead bodies, etc)

Looking forward to the Rear Wheel Lining Mudguard. I guess Ford left a lot of issues in their designs, which gave someone opportunities to create what should have been there from the factory.
