This is the size of screw that the Flexbed site says to use to attach side rails to the bed. They were too small. Who else has done this and what size did you use?

i just did a complete write up in the DIY section. It’s called ā€œInstructions: Adding Bed Tie-Downs to 2025 XLā€.

If you’re talking about the pre-tapped threads along the sides where the rails can be installed, those use M8-1.25 bolts. I can confirm this 100% since I experimented by adding eye bolts to them which were M8-1.25. You only use M6-1.0 on the side wall rear holes that are untapped and where the tie-downs go. Don’t listen to Ford on this. Several people have noticed errors, including myself.

Sure do appreciate you clearing this up and thanks.
