I have been trying to get one of these for months after not preordering. Happened to be at my local dealer (Brandon Ford) and while i was in there someone cancelled their order on this truck.

I walked over and immediately put a reservation down for. Should be here around the 22nd of the month according to the dealership! Prety excited even though they do have a $2k MSRP adjustment, the vehicle is still worth it to me.

$2k isn't as aggregious as many other dealers. I see no less than $10k markup on even the base xl's around here. You got lucky, as far as not having an order in.

For a Lariat! Did they call it a roping fee? 🤗

Since he bought it "second hand" he could justify the $2k by saying he saved $8k🥰!

Almost exactly my build, but in the end about $5,000 more OTD than my order. Not worth it to me (I'd wait) but it is still the perfect Maverick, IMO.

Post up some pics, though.

The price also increase on Dec 27th by $890, so not bad at all. Could say $1,110 ADM

I love these stories!

And yes $2k ADM is not the end of the world especially if you need something right now. I wouldn’t have paid it but I’m not in dire need of wheels right now I can wait.

The dealership I talked to this morning to get on their waiting list for situations like this (capital ford in Charlotte) told me they mark them up 4 to 7 thousand dollars! They can miss me on that crap.

Anyone by chance able to help me a bit. From the window sticker it doesnt look like its been shipped at all. At least compared to the guide that is posted on the forum. But i was told by the dealer they expected it between the 16th and the 22nd of Jan.

Just curious, do you know if the dealer was going to charge the $2k markup to the person who originally ordered it?

I don't have any way of knowing that, but what i can confirm is that every other maverick i have seen come through there also had a $2k adjustment on it. So i would assume so, but i cant guarantee it.

My salesman texted me about a dark Blue Maverick Lariat hybrid that his customer ordered and cancelled after it was on his lot. It has the SIBL, floor mats, roll up bed cover and swing out tool box. It's now in my garage. My dealer sold it to me at A plan pricing.

You did ok on price; the lux pack drives it up a lot but you get a lot of goodies. Just enjoy your nice new truck and don't worry about it.

That's pretty much the exact build I have on my Hybrid Lariat but went with Carbonized Gray. Had it for a little over a week, put about 700 miles on it already and really can't come up with any complaints. Pretty much love everything about it!
