Lowered My Maverick, Where Are The Bump Stops?

2022 FWD, Eibach 2"/3.5" kit. I didn't see in the instructions how to trim the existing stops and mount the new stops that came with the kit. My buddy and I looked but didn't even see any bumpstops. I have lowered several cars, but this is my first FWD car.

Pretty sure they are on top of the struts themselves. If you pull the dust boots down a lil you can see them.

In front you will remove the dust boot and bump stop to trim while the front strut is apart, in the rear you remove the rear shocks and pull the top mount/dust boot off and replace it with the suppllied bump stop.

Rear shock:

Remove the plastic cover and unbolt the top mount from the shock, the bumpstop will be inside of the plastic dust cover:

The front bumpstop will be on the shaft under the dust boot, remove the plastic ring and first two ribs:

Hi everyone,
I just lowered my mav on Eibach's and am getting a popping noise. (1st time I have had a vehicle lowered.) Is that the bumpstop and does it hurt the suspension?

Bump stop should not be popping. Make sure everything is tight and torqued
