Loud Buzzing from Speakers on Start

Anyone else ever experience this? I've had my Lariat Lux hybrid for a bit over a month and when I pushed the button to start yesterday I got a crazy loud deafening buzzing sound from the sound system. I literally had to cover my ears. It went on for just a couple of seconds and then was totally silent. Stereo was on the Satellite radio when it happened and then no volume right after and couldn't turn it up. Switched to FM and I was able to turn up the volume and then switch back to satellite and it was working again. Has this happened to anyone else? Didn't see any other reports like this on the forums yet.

I’ve had this happen once in my Lariat Lux Eco AWD leaving Lowes a couple of weeks ago. No sound at all on any app, sat or radio. Same sound as you describe on start up. I rebooted the screen several times but It didn’t come back to normal until I got home and restarted the truck. I was about to make a 6 hour drive and was really bummed on the drive back from Lowe’s. Has not happened again. I’m using a wireless CarPlay adapter but have not had any issues with its operation.

Just curious - is yours also a 23? Mine was built on August 7th.

Happened again today. It seems to be a similar issue to this one that's been reported on F150s with the B&O sound system:

I also have the B&O sounds system on my Maverick.

This was the 3rd time I had it happen. Different sounds each time and thankfully not as loud this time.

Happened to me once - in the first 100 miles of ownership. Resetting my radio, a PITA, seems to have solved it.
