I bought my 2024 Maverick Pre-owned and have never been able to find the Key Cards that should have been in the Glove Box with the codes necessary to program and cut a new key. Does anyone know if those codes may also be on a sticker hidden somewhere on the vehicle?

Jerry,
I'm sorry.
My answer was incorrect.
I was mistakenly thinking of the keypad code.

If your looking for the key code to cut a replacement key the only place is a tag that came with the keys. Only other way is to go to a Ford dealer & they can request the code from Ford but will have to pay a retrieval fee or have a key shop trace an original key

Thank you for the correct answer.
My mind immediately went to keypad code. Which was wrong.

Jerry, the correct post is above #3
Thanks guys. I don’t have that tag. I’m thinking about installing a Keyless Entry Key Pad and an extra key and I know it’s needed. I wish I could program the Key Pad myself.

How to program the key pad yourself:
How do I program a personal keyless entry code?

NO need to pay the dealer. I am buying a key pad soon and will try this method. I have not done it yet myself.

For my 23 XLT that had both OEM key fobs:
I bought the key fob that was cut from the photo of my existing key sent in with my order.
Checked the cut key to make sure it turned ignition, then programmed it using my 2 OEM key fobs.
Been using it for 2 months in place of my OEM to see how it holds up, so far good.

Keypad programming seems to need Ford FDRS to install.

Thanks Gene that key looks like a pretty good solution. I have both of my OEM keys and just wanted a third to maybe hide on the vehicle some where in case I lost mine. The Keypad can't help you actually start the car, so this may be better all around. Some of the Amazon reviews weren't that great but that is to be expected. Since you have used yours for over 2 months I'd say you are out of the woods.

You can hide the extra key / fob inside the truck whether it's under the rear seat/ behind the rear seat back.
Use this keypad to unlock an access the truck, especially if you don't have your phone with you.

Sounds like a plan. Keypad from Ford $120 plus dealer installation/programing $55 plus remote key from Amazon $50. Cha ching. I'll do it in steps.

Please update us if you are able to program the Keypad yourself. I thought I read somewhere that Ford eliminated that DIY on model year 2024 and up.
I was wrong on "programming" (activating) the keypad. What I listed is how to enter your personal code after it has been programmed by the dealer. Thanks for catching my error!

Yes, it is sad. One dealer quoted me 97.50 to program. My usual dealer who was so great with my 22 recalls and service, says the book say 1.5 hours for labor. $220 was his "best deal".

Last year on the 24 you could buy it from Ford parts at $120 and select $24 installation at an approved dealer. They provided a list of approved dealers. It is sad to be charged 1.5 hours for a 10-minute job. My 25 will not go to him for anything!

They are now advertising $125 and an additional $55 for activation provided you can find a dealer willing to do it at that price.
