After lowering my Maverick and rotating tires, I noticed this loose green wire at the top of the rear shocks, driver side. I have no idea what it is.
Anyone like to take a gander?

If you own a hybrid, I've read that this is an emergency release to open your fuel door.
I do have a an AWD hybrid. Never noticed this wire before. I don't like it's just dangling there

It is an emergency fuel door release if the electric one on the dash fails. You must have the key on for it to work. Or be in ignition on mode if you have push button starting. I am not sure about the correct answer for it just "dangling" there. I thought mine seemed relatively secure. Maybe yours got pulled out some.

Perfect. Thank you. I honestly should read the manual from cover to cover. I just focus on maintenance.

They don't make it easy. A search of terms on that page in the pdf wouldn't even show any results, even if the words are there. That's the great thing about this forum... members helping members.
