Hello I’m looking to add a 4 channel amp and a mono amp to my maverick. Also going to replace the front speakers, rear speakers and add a 10” sub. I have a alpine mrp-f300, alpine mrp-m500 and sundown sd2 10” sub that I took out of my F150. I installed all this in my f150 but that had a aftermarket head unit so I never installed any amps to a factory head unit so I’m kinda clueless to it. Looks like I will need a line out converter and I guess a audio control Lc7i is what I would need as it’s a 6 channel one? Also looks like I need to tap into the factory speaker wire for a signal? Looks like a company called plugandplaykits.com has a plug and play kit that just plugs into the factory head unit then into the lc7i converter. With that does that eliminate me having to tap into the factory speakers?

Here’s a picture of the plug and play kit I’m taking about.

Been awhile since I've messed with a factory head unit, but your MRP-F300 looks like it already has speaker-level inputs and a pre-out that can provide signal to the MRP-M500 to drive the subwoofer. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the Maverick has any secondary factory amps and/or crossovers in the non-B&O trims, thus that LC7I might be overkill.

If it were me I think I would snip the speaker outputs at the head unit, then go snipped-head-unit-speaker-wires -> MRP-F300 speaker-level input -> new speaker wire to replacement fronts and rears -> pre-out to MRP-M500 -> subwoofer.

Your factory wiring and plugs would still be in place if you needed to revert, you would still retain fader and balance control at the head unit. Spend the time to read up on adjusting gains so you get the best non-clipping signal off the speaker-level lines, mount the amps somewhere accessible so you can tweak it over time.
