Looking for bed extender mounting kit

I have a spare bed extender for the Maverick. My Ford dealer tells me they can't order the mounting kit for the extender. They are not even able to order the four parts (two in box and two outer) separately. I checked other websites and most comments are about F150 which appears different components. Any suggestions or answers out there?

Here are the photos with explanation. The first is the Ford Accessory bed extender. It came off another truck. The second is the layout of the holes drilled through the box liner. The metal frame of the box has the holes drilled at the factory but no threading or fasteners. Third is one of the two inner brackets which I have. What I need is the brackets for the other side which are threaded. They are installed by removing the tail lights with two bolts. I can't get the outer brackets.

That bed extender is made by Lund. Have you tried to contact Lund for just the mounting hardware?

google search for "Amp Research Bedxtender Quick Mount Bracket". Might be the same thing. Lund bought AMP Research in 2020 and is now selling many of the AMP products under their Innovation-In-Motion moniker.

The AMP Research google worked. Kits are available. Thanks for the tip Plantman. I notice they use self tapping screws which I didn't think would be sufficient but I guess the engineers know better, I will use self tapping screws with loctite.

If you don't want to use the self-tapping screws or fabricate your own backing plate, you could always thru-bolt and use small fender washers, lock washers, and nuts on backside.

1/4” X 1 1/4” thick fender washers, m5 X 25 mm button head screws, and 5 mm lock nuts worked great. Use a socket with extension to hold the lock nuts or you will drop them.

What is the size of that hole? Can use bigger screws like M6?

I couldn’t go bigger than M5. Overspray from the SIBL may have been a factor but M5 was pretty tight.

Thanks bro, I got it 4.5mm measured on SIBL, I believe it is right 5mm on metal.
