Fl-910S is the recommended size. bypass set at 14.5 psi, FL-400S is bigger and would have more filtering area. Bypass set at 20 psi.

I would recommend using the Recommended FL-910s. And over filling is worse that being under by 1/2 QT.

I also find that " I don't want a half bottle of oil sitting around" to be quite funny. Not criticizing, just musing. You're going to use it on the next oil change. Agree with Montana, if you're doing your own oil changes, you have room for a quart bottle somewhere. I would actually feel like an incomplete human without my cabinet full of partial oil bottles! Funny stuff.

Of course, to each their own, but it is fun to poke the bear a little too. 🤡
