Lobo order CONFIRMED!.. Kind of?

After a month of waiting patiently for the confirmation. I have decided to give in, just because I needed to know. I got in the online chat with sales/order code. My Lobo is Confirmed, unscheduled due to materiel hold. Would anyone be able to shed some light on this? I can't imagine they are already short on something?

For reference, I ordered the Lobo in blue, tonneau cover, and the alternate wheel choice.

Lobo is not "available" until next quarter. So the material hold is that they are literally not going to be scheduling or building them for a while longer.

The official wording from Ford is: " - Lobo Version (W8P) will be available on 2025 Q1. "

You know.... that actually makes a lot of sense, but they could email a guy to ease the nerves

they could email like 1,500 guys or those guys could read the available information or they could consult with their dealer who may or may not be worth a damn.

It is legit the first week of scheduling for 2025, if you’ve placed an order and it didn’t get scheduled - PLEASE - Do. Not. Create. A. Thread.

You aren’t special. You haven’t been wronged. Some of us waited 15+ months for a bastardized maverick we never wanted in the first place. I’ll be 37 months in when my Maverick HYBRID is finally built.

I have read the current info about MY25... I've also seen people mention they received their email from ford a couple days later. I also know about the mandatory quality hold. I have informed myself on most available literature. What is not available, is what MATERIAL SHORTAGE the message is referring to.

Something is seriously wrong here with a 3 yr wait. Maybe you should have put that deposit down after all. I got mine in 13 months so what is the hold up? Dealer lacking allocations?

Buy somewhere else and stop waiting and crying about it man!

I’m not crying. I’m telling someone else to quit their complaining about not being scheduled the first week of production after it was well publicized that no Lobos would be produced until 2025, man!!!!

You clearly didn’t read the current info about 2025 production or you wouldn’t have created a thread complaining about your unscheduled lobo for job 1.

I'm not sure how you could group me in with people kicking dirt on ford.

I LOVE my 22 Escape SEL. I also loved the ordering process. I submitted my order in person, then I received --CONFIRMATION-- that my order was received and they would send updates as needed. Fast forward two months and then I received a --SCHEDULING-- email telling me when then intended to build my vehicle.

Now let's look at my OP. See how I mentioned that I had to use online chat to even get some form of confirmation? Then I asked for information about material shortages. Unscheduled is language ford used, and i repeated. I did not ask why my Lobo was not scheduled.
I never complained that it was not scheduled. I simply asked what they are using material shortage reasons for. You however complained from your high horse because a post didn't fit your liking.

From my pictures, you can clearly see o have a firm understanding of how the ford ordering process is suppose to work. It did not work right for my Lobo. I understand that, but that STILL does not answer my question. Why did they used material shortage. Stop being such a pompous troll.

No, I honestly loved the turbofans at first. After a couple weeks I really started to hate them I think it looks sweet as hell with the black snow flakes.
