I've got an XL eco with a build date. I finally feel close enough to buy some accessories for when it arrives. I have picked up a lot of good pointers along the way but wanted to know about smalls I may not be thinking of. Particularly items that kind of seem like they should have come with even the XL.

- Two side storage bins for the bed sides
- Organizer tray for the center console
- Phone holder for the cubby next to screen
- Mudd flaps
- Floor mats
- Center console for the rear seat passengers
- Tiny jumper / USB / inverter for rear passengers
- Dashcam with rearview. Mounting rear view top rear of cab for view of loads in bed and blindspots coverage.

Any other small conveniences I'm gonna think "why didn't that come standard" when it arrives?

You might rethink the mudflaps.there is a lot of plastic cladding that in my opinion makes them redundant, especially on the rear.i installed them right away on my maverick and think I wasted my money.

Sadly I'm too late on this one. This was the only purchase I made prior to being scheduled cause someone posted a deal here and another person mentioned there is a portion of the undercarriage it would keep help keep road salt out/off of. Normally I'm a less is more kind of person, but also had an issue with my current car where accumulated road salt caused some rot.

Up side, I only paid $30 for them.

Doesn't seem like a big deal. But might be worth the price to avoid hearing my kids let it slam when they go back there. 😄

Don’t know what that guy did to lose mileage but I have them on my Mac with no loss of mpg.
I may have passed through that thread or another like it. Someone quoted 0.3 mpg loss. To which most people laughed. Not enough to be considered close to outside standard deviation.

First thing I do to most new vehicle purchases......add a 3" stick-on frog eye mirror to each side mirror. When you get used to the expanded field of view these offer, you'll never do without.

You make me realize I forgot to list dashcam, dashcam, dashcam.

Both because I think it's invaluable when it is needed. But also because I plan to get one with a wide angle rearview. Mount that by the brake lite at the top rear of the cab. This should give a great view of any loads I'm carrying while driving and additional blind spot coverage.

Can I ask where you got that?

I ordered some off of Amazon but they were the adjustable type that don't sit flush on the mirror. I couldn't bring myself to install them and have to fight with removing them if I didn't like them.
