My order was place and I received the confirmation e-mail on Friday. After pouring over info on this forum and Reddit for the past year I was ready and waiting for the 23 orders to open up so I could place one.
At 40 it will be my first new vehicle from the dealer. It's funny because I've helped countless friend and some family purchase new cars in the past but my inner cheap ass child always kept me away from car payments. Since I'm rather handy and enjoy working on cars I've always had well cared for used ones. My current ride is a '04 Grand Marquis that I got back in '17 with 22,000 miles on it. Haha.
Anyway, thanks for all the info and a great resource here.
