For the record, LASFIT includes resistors in the bulb. That's going to generate a ton of extra heat, and heat kills LEDs. Especially cheap LEDs.

Almost every other solution (superbrightleds.com, diode dynamics, etc...) has you install resistors separately. Buying aftermarket tail lamps with integrated LEDs, they usually have resistors built in, but away from LEDs.

Unfortunately this is the first car I've owned where you can't just replace a flasher relay under the steering column for an LED compatible one. I do wonder if you can disable fast blinking with FORSCAN...

Edit: It appears you can disable hyperflash in FORSCAN. So there's no reason to buy super expensive LEDs with built in fans and resistors that burn out in 9-15 months. I've bought from superbrightleds.com for previous cars for over 13 years, never had an issue with them breaking or burning out. Diode Dynamics looks beautiful but expensive as hell.

Yes I understand have had 6 different LEDs go out have been thankful that Lasfit has replaced all of them both in and out of Warranty I can no longer recommend or support LASFIT as a LED bulb should last at least 80 to 100, thousand hours not just over a 1000 hours you work 2000 hours a year thats 8 hours a day 40hours a week don't think anyone drives there Maverick 8 hours a day unless for business. So that tells you how long they are lasting and that's not very long at all. 🤔☠👎💰🤐

The only issue I have with the traditional bulbs is the heat output. Sometimes that's a good thing, like during winter to assist in snow melting off the headlights, but I've had the plastic housings melt on multiple vehicles (older and pre-owned before me). So I like to avoid that much excess heat.

But so far so good on the LasFits for my Maverick. Fingers crossed. Not holding my breath though...

I also disabled the hyper flash, which may come back to haunt me if they burn out. But I check regularly anyways.

I just checked superbrightleds and their vehicle bulb search stops at the 2019 model year. I also tried searching on various bulb numbers and all came back not found. Had better luck with Diode Dynamics. At least they provide a three year warranty on their LED bulbs. That is probably what your paying for.

Installed all three tail/brake lights a year ago and expect them to last five.

Has anyone had problems with their lastfit lights? So far all 4 of my brake lights have gone out (months apart) and also my driver side marker light. I've had these lights less than a year and am curious if I just got unlucky or they are bad.
I’ve had 2 go out after about 15 months. Both brake lights
