Just wondering if your seat gets hot? I have a lariat and my seat gets burning hot. My dash is super cool but the leather seat is extreme hot. Very uncomfortable to touch.
It gets warmer than cloth probably would sitting in the sun all day but the pro's of it easily outweigh the cons. Only way for Ford to improve on that seat is to add a cooling fan option for it

What I do is put sun shades in and I added window vents. This allows me to lower the windows slightly and still be rain free.

I'm sure that would work. It doesn't bother me enough to do anything about it for now. Northern Indiana doesn't have many months out of the year where I have to worry about being too hot in the car and I've found the AC to work well at cooling the cab quickly.

Yea, I'm in mid-Michigan. I prefer it in low 70's

Thanks I am in California and just 15min in the sun would get the seat really hot. I was waiting for my kids in the truck with windows down and the seat/center armrest where expose to sun. I am surprised since I have other leather seat and they are nowhere hot as this leather. Everything else are cool including leathered steering wheels. The active seat also cool down fast once ac is on but it is really hot fast when in the sun. Maybe I’ll try to measure the temp next time

You are right, that seat gets hot. I leave a towel on the passanger seat so my lady is not getting burned when she gets in.

Other than that the seat material is great.
