What's the chance of another Ford vehicle interfering with your Maverick key signal? I tried using my key fob to remote start my truck this morning and no response. I went outside to unlock the truck using the key fob and no response either. I had to manually use the key to unlock the truck. I noticed there's an F150 parked on the guest parking that isn't typically there but really thought nothing of it. When I got to the office, I stepped outside to locked the truck and then, do a remote start using the key fob and it worked?? What's going on here?!

zero.

likely a low battery, put that fob away and use the other one exclusively for a few days. I bet you won't have any issues.

it's very easy to change the battery.

There are tons of other wireless devices that also use the 315 megahertz radio band. It's quite possible there was interference from something near your truck.

I found that there was an issue with my bluetooth headphones. If I have my headphones (with the case) in my pocket along with the key fob, the door will not unlock when you touch the backside of the handle.

I actually agree with that, but still am certain that it wasn't the F150 he saw, and he can easily confirm or rule out a low battery in that fob.

Correct. Not likely the 150 itself, although there could've been a device stored in it causing the interference. Also proving it's not the fob battery is definitely warranted.

They say your head is mostly filled with water and if you put the key fob underneath your chin that will extend your range when the battery is low. Basically your head as an antenna amplifier.....lol

I have had that happen on my 2008 Dodge Caravan. Remote would not open doors. Once I used the Key to manually open them all was OK. This happened 15 or 20 times on that Van.
