I got a notice from Ford yesterday that our 2023 xlt/lux pkg area 51 was built Friday but no shipping date yet. We bought a 23 xlt/lux in Feb at a dealer a day before we had a build date! If someone is interested please pm me. I'd rather see it go to someone for a fair bit less than what a dealer would ask. We also have another xlt/lux cactus gray on order but no build date yet.

I ordered 2 from different dealers in Sept hoping to get 1. It was over 5 months and I hadn't heard anything from Ford and one became available at a different dealer, equipped as we wanted, at the end of Feb. They gave us a decent trade-in price at that time so we bought it. The very next day after we closed the deal we got the 1st scheduling notification. If we had that notification 24 hrs sooner we would have waited. A month later we got the scheduling notification on the 2nd one. BTW they are all hybrids. The one we bought is great.

If I recall correctly, mine was shipped about a week after it was listed as built. The email referred to them wanting to perform a few final checks before it was released.

Same with us. Ordered to Lariat Hybrids from different dealers, hoping to get one. Bought an XLT EB off the lot for $2K over MSRP and drove it 4 months, then sold it when first hybrid shipped. In meantime, bought a XLT hybrid off a lot for $2K over msrp for the wife, thinking hers would never get built. That was 2 months ago, then we got a build date last week for June 12, so will sell it. Should do ok since it is loaded and has less than 3K miles on it. Love the Mavericks.
