My wife and I drove to Corwin Ford Tri-Cities today and picked up our new 2026 Lariat AWD Hybrid.
We drove home 270 miles on the freeway so was mot expecting too much for mpg but we ended up at 37.5 mpg. I’m happy with that.
Truck drove great. I hope to learn stuff here and help where I can.

She’s a beauty, and the first thing to learn here as a hybrid owner is that you need to have your headlights on a couple hours a week, or run your fan at seven or eight a couple hours a week to help charge your 12 V under seat battery. It’s been discovered by geniuses here that that tricks the 12 V into a full charge, and you won’t end up with the issue that many people have with a less than charge 12 volt due to the software enjoy that truck

Me too that is why we pushed the purchase up before the 2027MY was out..
At first I was not looking for the BAP but my wife wanted the black seats and did not like the other ones.

I"m coming up on 3 years with my '24 Lariat hybrid and my wife still has not driven it. She thinks it's still too big. At least I don't miss not having a memory power seat. I have such a difficult time getting the eight way power seat back into my position on her car. One time before a 1300 mile trip, I ended up at the Chiropractor as a result!

Already started. Installed Tonneau cover, Bed rug, screen protector and some tray liners. Later this week black lug nuts and that is it for now.
Future will include dash cam and a review mirror with home link on it.
