Did the OP ever get a VIN?

The 8/15 hybrid opening date was for fleet orders. Which makes sense; let the public get their orders in before companies start ordering them by the gross. What’s up with that it seems to be the most popular, that just stupid on fords part
Hum I thought the 8/2 date was the opening for rollover MY22 to MY23 regardless of engine type so all MY22 orders should have priority over new MY23 ordersThe 8/15 hybrid opening date was for fleet orders. Update:Hello all!
I've been reading this forum more than I should since I put in my order on 6/9/2021.
I called Ford this morning and was told it will not get built as a '22. The rep confirmed that the dealer input the order correctly so I should be eligible for the private offer. One thing she said, which is inconsistent to the info on this forum, is that I need to go through the same dealer to get priority for my '23. She said I can use the private offer anywhere but won't get priority if I order through a different dealer.
It's been a frustrating ordering process but I hope you have my Cyber Orange Lariat Hybrid sometime by spring.
Man that sucks! You’ve waited a long time!!Update:
After doing some more digging the dealership (Coughlin Ford in Pataskala, OH) did not COVP the order. Apparently Ford Marketing does not have access to this info so it looks correct on their end.
Now I am most likely not eligible for prioritization or the private offer. I asked the sales manager if he would at least give me something off MSRP due to their mistake and he said no. Needless to say, I will be ordering my '23 through a different dealer.

They're a fairly large dealership but pretty new to Ford. I'd like to think it was an honest mistake due to inexperience. The fact they won't do anything for me, other than assigning it priority code 10, is very irritating. Luckily there are some dealerships in my area that know what they're doing.Yikes!!
It does make sense that this was the cause of the error.
Hey, mistakes happen. BUT, that dealership should certainly be doing something to make up for their mistake. We would here.
(I wonder if they just missed yours, or if they ignored ROVP/COVP on many?? Really no excuse.....we were reminded numerous times about completing ROVP. We were even sent VIN lists of what was ok and not from our rep.)
Being a large dealership, the crucial messages from Ford about ROVP may have gone to a person not paying attention....and the info didn't get to the people actually submitting orders. They're a fairly large dealership but pretty new to Ford. When I read that your order date was June 9,2021 and ecoboost, my first thought was that the dealership didn’t ROVP it correctly. Oh and delaer 2 had a similar amount, or maybe even more, orders.I spoke with the dealer that did not COVP my order and they said only 20 of their 180 orders got built but are blaming it totally on Ford. I spoke with another dealer who COVP'd all their orders and only 3 haven't been built. Sounds like dealer 1 has no idea what they're doing.
I had a good experience with Germain Ford in Beavercreek Ohio. I know there is one in the Columbus area, or come down to Dayton and talk to my salesman Johnathan Barbee. It was a no BS transaction.Update:

Good to know Germain is doing it right. My father-in-law ordered on from Dick Masheter in Columbus and had a good experience so I put in a preorder with them. I've also talked to Jeff Drennen Ford in Coshocton and they seem to have their stuff together as well.I had a good experience with Germain Ford in Beavercreek Ohio. Geez what a cluster of a mess. Imagine they a whole lot of ticked off folks. I curious how they got the 20Oh and delaer 2 had a similar amount, or maybe even more, orders.
