I asked Granger this morning for a rail car # and tracking. This is a June 14th order. I'll do the automated call later this morning to see if there has been any movememver that past 3 days.

Thanks! This shows that the VVR we can get from the dealer shows detailed tracking as it is shipped. No real need to call CSX if we can get the VVR screenshots.

i haven’t yet. I’ve really tried to not bother them too much with things neither of us can control. I’ll give it through the weekend and see if it updates, then I’ll reach out. I’m driving myself nuts waiting on this thing

I have been using the Norfolk Southern tracking and its been pretty clear

Thanks for this comment. I went ahead and tried my railcar number through Norfolk Southern, and it gave status that it was in Tuscon, AZ, Feb 25th(today) at 1AM. Below are the instructions for Norfolk.

NS Norfolk Southern
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked.

When I try using the NS system, it says that it's in like Carrillon Texas and the date is January 23rd, so seems like the CSX one is the best bet for me even though I have no clue what is being said haha

You might want to try Union Pacific as well since that is what it is supposed to be on right now. CSX in Mexico, then Union Pacific west of the Mississippi, then back to CSX for us east of the big river.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

I tried mine on Union Pacific and it gave some good info and even gave me the option to fax the info to myself. Estimate is for it to be in East St. Louis on 3-4-22.

Thanks for posting the Norfolk Southern details. I was able to get something meaningful from this process vs. the CSX site. Mine is apparently in Shelbyville, Kentucky, just outside Louisville. That's an easy trek down I-75.
