Just got the call this morning. Went to dealership around 12 to sign paperwork when they told me their system is down nationwide which sounds fishy.

[UPDATE] DELIVERED... XLT Hybrid that was previously stuck in "Chip Hold" (details in signature).

Truck was Produced 1/11/22 but not Released until 2/10/22. Shipped 2/11/22 and arrived at my dealer in Oracle, Arizona around noon today, 2/17/22.

The salesman called me and told me they would get it ready by 4 pm today. I spent about 30 minutes with the Finance Manager. (That long only because I was taking advantage of the 0% for 36 months deal. They had no problem giving me that even though rates now are different.)

I drove off the lot around 5 pm. No dealer issues at all. They asked if I wanted an extended warranty then dropped it after we talked for 2-3 minutes. Painless. Ford has been kind of a pain but I would do business with this dealer (only one in Oracle) again.

When you get a chance . . . I remembered that you commented on extended service plan in the past. Can you say why you decided not to go with it? Did price come up and if so, how did it compare with FloodFord? Thanks.

The main thing was that I have been putting off researching the issue until I got the truck. So I asked the finance manager if I could make the decision later and he told me I could.

I told him I would research competing prices (which exist for extended warranty, not sure about extended service) and cost/benefit and get back to him. I also asked him to give me his best price and told him I would only get back to him if it was a winner.

So I finally received my "built" email this evening. Funny thing is that the ETA is still showing as 5-21-22 in the email and on the tracker. Also, yesterday, the FordPass App kicked me out and now it will not let me reactivate. Hopefully we all get a "shipped" notice soon. Flying blind AGAIN, but one step closer.

I received my weekly answer back from my sales guy. The VVR shows that my ETA has updated to the week of 3-24-22. It has moved from "In Production" to "Released" and "Awaiting Shipment." ETA disposition note still reads "Micro Chip At Plant On Hold," but hopefully that is irrelevant since it is "Released."

Mine said the same thing even as the salesman was handing me the keys. So apparently it doesn't mean much.

Check your tracker fellas! No email from Ford yet but someone asked me if I’ve heard anything on my truck yet, so I checked the tracker (prob for the 10th time today) before answering them and saw this!!!

I really wonder if we are all going to be on the same train or not, since @jwiedle24 got the built email 2 weeks ago, @bentley72 got it one week ago, and I just got mine on Sunday night. I'm hoping my Mav gets that ticket to ride along!
