"It's at the highest volume"

When I ask to increase the volume of the turn by turn directions of google maps on my Maverick's infotainment screen it states:
"It's at the highest volume"
I can barely hear it.
Any way to turn this up?
Do you go to your phone (Android) or the Maverick?
Any way to do this?
P.S. I highly recommend a dongle for the Maverick so you don't have to plug in your phone each time you get in the truck.
I have the Motorola - but maybe that's the problem?

The trick is to turn up the volume "while the voice is talking". You have to manually turn the volume knob while it is giving you directions. You'll be surprised at how LOUD it can get!! Let me know your results. I had the same issue till I figured it out.

I'll try it in the google map direction to home after work today.
(Yes, I use it back and forth to work - it still amazes me).
I am coming from a 2002 Jeep Wrangler with roll up windows.
Never had a Garmin.

I guess kind of intuitive just not to me. I was pushing the microphone button (that I had just pushed to begin the trip) and telling her to speak louder.
This is the stuff they should put in the owner's manual instead of nonsense like "wash the interior with warm soapy water".
