Sorry if this has been talked about already. I have a '22 Hybrid XLT. Wondering if it is worth it to put an order in for a similar '23. Then sell the '22? Carvana has Maverick at over $30k right now. Do we think those prices will last by the time the '23s starting rolling in?

Based on how fast they're closing the order banks, I'd expect Maverick demand - and thus prices - to remain high.

Do you want a 2023? If so, do it.

Remember if you want a 2023 xlt with lux package , Ford dumbed it down. It removed autostart, bedliner, the bed rail sytem. If you don't mind losing a few things or don't have the lux package, hey why not. I was lucky enough to get a 22 canceled order hybrid xlt with lux package. I have on order the same car for 23. Since the 23 lux package has been dumbed down due to constraints, I am keeping my 22 and invest in an extended warranty!

I did it. I was worried but car prices are insane right now. I Sold My XL Hybrid (got it for 19K) for just below 32K Put the cash into a secured Note Yes that hurt but I am paying on the 2023 before I get it locked in at a super low interest rate. I have been paying on the note since september. Then came the dollar drop and the feds bumped the rate up( That effects everyone i think it was good in this instant)The dollar Drop will men that locked in price of 22K is going to be worth way more than I paid for it. The 05 Ranger is keeping us alive while we wait. Yes we Got a vin on the 2023 for April 27. If you can order and Lock one in do it. You dont have to take it. Even if you get it just to pass it on do it Lock it in. Good luck
