Installing Running Boards - Is it hard?

For the people that have done this, is it hard? I'm looking at the directions and they seem pretty confusing. For example, was cutting the liner underneath hard? Did you have to do anything else that is not reversible?

I have a similar question like the above. For those of you that have added running boards or nerf boards or whatever you what to call them, are there any brands that just bolt on without needing to tear things apart? Drilling a few holes is OK with me but that is about it. Put put a link to the brand that you installed without any problems. Thanks!

With the iBoard running boards cutting the liner was extremely easy. I was surprised by how easy t was to cut with a simple razor knife. I did a thorough description of my install on another thread in this forum. Just search for Running Board install, it should show up.
