My husband has me searching for any tips or instructions for installing Mabett mud flaps and fender flares at the same time. Has anyone done this and has any advice? Since he sent me on this mission, I have a feeling that it is going to be more complicated than it sounds. Thank you in advance!

It's not complicated at all. Just follow instructions included. Install fender flares first, the mud flaps will cover the little lip on the inside of the fender. I had installed mud flaps and added fender flares later - had loosen the mud flaps to fit the flares under. Be sure to very thoroughly clean the fender area - use rubbing alcohol to remove contamination. The 3-M adhesive works well but absolutely needs a clean/oil free surface to adhere to. The rear mud flaps have brackets to install, no biggy just follow the instructions and lay them out first.

Good luck and have fun,

Thank you, Bert! They look great! I appreciate your advice and photos.

My husband may call our Maverick my baby, but I really think it's his toy. Every accessory has to be perfect and installed perfectly. But because it's my baby, he sends me searching for everything. If left to my own devices, it would have flames on the front and Texas Longhorns on the hood :)

I read a few threads recently from people who installed fender flares and they recommended putting PPF (paint protective film) under the flares to protect the paint. Just passing that along in case you missed it. 😬
