Hi all. I finally got around to putting in the Ford DIBL. Overall, not too terribly hard and I'm overall satisfied with it. I did have a couple issues: 1) the hardware kit was missing one screw and washer and 2) the adhesion promoter was not in the kit either.
As many know, the cutouts on the side pieces need to be done by the customer. I first tried an oscillating tool but found it hard to control and cut straight. I then tried a rotary tool (like a Dremel) with a cutoff wheel and that worked best for me. Also, all of the tie done anchors have what looks like red threadlocker. The D-rings on the bed were the hardest to remove and reinsert. It almost felt like I was cress-threading.
